SWVA 4-H Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit educational center located in Abingdon, Virginia whose mission is to empower youth and adults through experiential skills building programs; day and residential camping programs; and educational and cultural outreach partnerships. The Program Assistant is a new seasonal full-time position at the 4-H Center and will report directly to the Program Director. SWVA 4-H Center offers year-round experiential learning programming for youth and adults. As the Center has grown its program offerings, there is now a need for this dynamic seasonal position. SWVA 4-H Center summer program staff is preferably 18 years of age and has completed at least one year of college and/or has work/volunteer experience in 4-H, camp, teaching, and/or youth programming (previous experience in 4-H is not required). Click below for application and full job description.
